TH8.2 Trans-umbilical versus peri-umbilical incision for general laparoscopic surgery

Abstract Aims The aim of this study was to determine whether a trans-umbilical or peri-umbilical incision is better route for the initial umbilical trocar in general laparoscopic surgery terms post-operative pain, risk surgical site infection (SSI), complications and scar cosmesis. Methods This prospective 128 patients who underwent 97 had during between January 2020 July 2021. Demographic data type were obtained from operation note.
